In 1987 a microbiologist in Lexington, KY uses Liquid Nitrogen to make ice cream. The beginning of nitro infused ice cream. A century after Mrs. Marshall suggested using nitrogen.
Soft serve ice cream made its debut in the late 1930’s as an alternative to hard ice cream.
Mrs. Agnes Marshall (Queen of Ice Cream) in 1885 suggested using liquid nitrogen to make ice cream in her cook book.
